When lit, the orange peel gives off a romantic, beautiful glow and a subtle citrus aroma. It is easy to assemble and brings an elegant feel to the room.

Add 3 drops of the optional essential oil.Light the pith. You need to hold the match to the pith for at least 15 seconds before it will light.Sit back and watch it glow! Anne Truitt, Pith No. 8, 2001.
This work reminds me of 9/11. Maybe it’s the fact that it was made in 2001, or the two columns and the simultaneous void and occupation of space they create… A pith is a spongey tissue, or the essence of something, or a concise expression. Any thoughts?
